Dear Parents,
It's hard to believe, but this year Just for Kids is celebrating ten years! Now that we have a decade under our belts, I have decided that it's time for a fresh new addition to our sports program. I would like to introduce Tremaine Chinapoo, a recent grad and scholarship soccer player from American University. Tremaine is the son of a former professional soccer player, he has ample camp and coaching experience, and will be in charge of taking the soccer program in a new direction. While I will continue to handle the younger children's introduction to soccer, Tremaine will oversee the older children's development and preparation for scrimmages and team soccer. Fortunately, this addition will also allow classes to be set up outside the current class locations.

Over the next couple of months, I will work with you and the Parks and Recreation departments in DC, Virginia and Maryland to secure fields. We need to begin this process immediately to ensure we have the spaces secured by April. For those who are interested in starting a new class in a new area, please contact me directly and we will gather the participants together and work on the permit process. Tremaine will also be available to help parents who coach their son's and daughter's soccer teams for tips on coaching and team strategy. He will be available to attend soccer practices and offer his expertise. For those interested in coach support, please contact me directly, as well.
